Following the latest Government announcement with regards to Grassroots football and Covid 19, the league have received the following notice from County:
Good Morning All,
I hope you are remaining well.
Thought I would get the email out there quick today before our phones at West Riding become very busy plus I am sure you have already got whatsapp message, texts and phone calls from people in your league regarding the government announcement yesterday.
FA are currently working with the government to get the restart of football passed and in place, whilst this might not be an instant return of football, there is hope and light and end of the tunnel for us all. We will share information as soon as we possible can.
Whilst there is a lot of excitement in the air about football, we must together still remind people that the current restricts are still in place, this means they are not able to training with more then 6 people and still not able to play friendlies till new guidelines are released, if you could continue pushing that message along with remind the clubs to get affiliated, I would be thankful.
League sanctioning will be now be opening in the coming week, I will get keep in touch about league sanctioning.
